Happy New Year
-------
Happy New Year to All! We rang in the New Year up at our Neighbors...guess that is life with two little ones now...But we had a blast!!! Ashten was Amazing (he slept most of it) and Preston made it til Midnight...what a trooper! He even did a New Year's toast with his buddy Brent..
Yes, everyone was shocked as I handed my champagne glass over to my two year old to indulge...It was quite a chuckle for me as they all gasped...but I let them in on the little secret that by Midnight...Mommy had switched to water!
The New Year has been quite busy thus far...Besides general house cleaning and pick up, we have been busy seeing friends, going to Bday parties, and having fun playing with lots of new toys.. At one of the Bday parties, Preston found himself a mask...Look out Batman 12--I think we have a potential candidate for the Batman!

We have also had a few milestones...Ashten has now official rolled over from Front to Back (he's done it 4 times now) so I believe it is not just a fluke....What a BIG boy he is becoming already...He did the Back to Front roll awhile back...He has also found his hands and loves when his Big Brother plays with him...or atleast in front of him to watch....

Preston also had his two year old Parents as Teachers test...which he did pass...thankfully--I wasn't quite sure if he would since he did not want to answer any of Ms Amy's questions at first...Imagine that...My son a shy one...well it didn't last too long I can assure you that..but the questions were tough...and some answers even suprised mommy...He had to do alot like: stack small blocks, count them, tell her his friends names, what it meant to be hungry, thirsty, and tired, answer questions about a serious of pictures, stand on one leg, jump and leap over things...What a big boy he has become!

Although not many naps were found by the two boys....Ashten did find a cozy spot on Nina for a slight nap....

Lots and Lots of gifts were opened over the holidays...all of which have been used and enjoyed already...We really had an AMAZING christmas and think we got all that we wanted.....we are so thankful and blessed!
Sorry--love the cuddle time we have in the mornings with the boys...no they do not sleep with us...but they do LOVE to wake Daddy up since he always seems to sleep later than us...and being in someone else's home was no different!
and the Debi and Kirsten came by to play Santa as well...
As I said we had a great time visiting family and enjoying the holidays as a family of four...it was quite hectic at times--I am not going to lie..but think I live off that sometimes....We are glad to be home and getting back on a schedule though...the boys are just not the same when they are out of their environment and schedules...The tree is down, decorations are put away and we are just working on getting everything back into order...that may take awhile though..

After realizing none of us like the snow...we came up with a new plan for the next frigid day that involved eating...a love of everyone's in this house...We built a Gingerbread Christmas tree...It was a team effort...and every bulb was placed by Mr P...We were quite impressed!
and Daddy and Ashten have been doing a lot of this lately as they prepare for the big day...yes, they need their energy to open all the fun gifts!!
Mommy has been having a blast out amongst the crazy shoppers looking for last minute things on the christmas list...Yes, I am nutty because I truly do love the madness and chaos...only though when I am by myself and I can swoop in and out...it is my own little private paradise of fun...
