38 Weeks Plus ???

38 Weeks Plus ???
--------
Okay, So I didn't get a chance to post last week but I was a .5 for all those of you inquiring....I didn't even get the "sympathy" 1 as my Husband so candidly pointed out....I know--Loving eh?
Anyways, this week's appointment did not come with any better news ....I was a "sympathy"1, but unfortunately the baby is not even engaging at this point....Sprout loves his little world inside Mommy's tummy and shows no signs of wanting out...(Just like Preston)..the bad part is though that the Dr will not even consider inducing if he remains unengaged bc she think it will lead to a c-section..
So although we want this baby to come naturally, we also do not wish to be the first of our friends to have a 11 lb baby...I think we have already come to the realization it will for sure be in the 9lb range and above...Mommy secretly hoping an 8 might appear...and honestly that is quite sad when you HOPE for an 8lb baby rather than a 7 pounder....since I really know that is most likely not possible...I dream of maybe an 8...So with that we are hoping that he decides to move down this week and give us more progress by the next appoint...the good thing is....We have time atleast to continue to debate on the name ....
Yes, it would be a good thing to have a name before we deliver...right??

The PT Party!!!

The PT Party!!

------

Okay, if you are going to have two parties--why not THREE! Yes, Preston had a final party on his actual Birthday for his "Parents as Teachers" Playgroup friends....and it was yet another joyous occasion.... Here they are making their ELMO faces!!
and chowing down AGAIN on Elmo Cupcakes!
A group photo....
Preston is so blessed to have such amazing friends!!! Mommy is equally as blessed to have as many Mommies as she does that help support her as well!!! I do not know how Stay-at-home mom's do it without a wide network of other stay-at-home mom's whether they are through your neighborhood, church or playgroups....I am so BLESSED to have the group of Mommies that I do and their beloved kiddo's as our friends and support system....so thank you to all of you... I LOVE being a Playgroup/Stay at home Mommy! Preston had a great Birthday week --thanks again to all of his friends that made his turning 2 so special!!!

THE BFSG PARTY!!!

The BFSG Party!!!
-------

Why stop at one party, when you can have TWO right??? Well, we couldn't leave out our beloved BFSG group....these 6 kids have been hanging out since pretty much their births...it has been amazing seeing them all grow up together....I can't believe it has been 2 years already....We are now up to 8 kids in the group and before too long it will be 11!! Yes, it makes for a crazy house--but I wouldn't have it any other way! They were just babies yesterday...I swear!
Look closely at Preston's mouth..and eyes....He is trying to steal a second cupcake without mommy noticing....trying to conceal the first one behind the chubby cheeks....
He was spoiled once again with lots of gifts from his friends....
and didn't mind showing them appreciation...
Sorry my pictures from this day didn't turn out very well....actually we have been on a hunt for a new camera because the one we have doesnt take the best pictures...if anyone has a suggestion ...let us know! If you want to see some better pictures, check out Mallory's link on our website... Thanks again to our BFSG group for helping celebrate the P'Man's big day as well!

Birthday Weekend with Family

Birthday Weekend with Family

-----------

Preston's Birthday Party weekend started with a first.....A first Haircut by a Professional.(other than Mommy, Daddy or a quick trip to the neighbors).....We deemed it necessary to have our little man sport a good clean cut for his big day....Preston however did not enjoy this idea too much and only agreed after seeing Daddy get his done...I think we might stick with the home haircuts for awhile and hey--they are a heck of a lot cheaper!! Mind you--our Neighbor does a GREAT job and think we plan to continue using her as long as the rates do not increase too much...they are in our price range....$0.

On Saturday, We had an ELMO themed 2nd Birthday Party for our Family and Neighbors....I am so glad our basement was done this year--It was great to have the room....Here is one table working on their "Elmo hat" project...

We moved the Party outside when it was time for cake....
12 kids....LOTS of Red frosting = trouble for Daddy and HIS basement...
Preston showin Daddy some love...
An attempt of a "kid" photo...
Preston was awesome opening his gifts....He was very gracious and gave lots of hugs/kisses/thank you's to his guests...Even to those who did not want one...He was quite appreciative and LOVED seeing what else was inside the beautiful wrapping paper!
Yes--Preston now has his own "Bounce House"....that even fits in our basement...Everyone is invited over this winter for lot's of jumping fun!!!
Just the boy's hangin out after the party....

Chillin with Papa after a LONG day of partying...Preston loved the fact he could talk Papa into watchin' Sharktale at anytime...
Sliding with Papa and Daddy at the Park ....Yes, I think there is a weight limit on the jungle gym but boys will be boys...they were having fun....Mommy, "Nina", Sprout and the Dog's enjoyed the view from the bench nearby...
Preston also figured out quite quickly Papa would push him for as long as he desired...and let him...
He even talked "Nina" and Papa into taking him to McDonald's one day for lunch...go figure!!! He had his first Happy Meal, Chocolate Milk....and showed off by climbing to the top of the play zone...
Too cute for words....my little scooter man all dressed up in the gear his other gramma and grampa bought for him to keep him safe while on one of his new favorite toys--a SCOOTER!
Out to dinner with the family and cheesin it up ---once again!
What an AMAZING and exhausting weekend...this is only a few of the 200+ pic's we took this weekend....and obviously can't post them all...Thanks to everyone who made Preston's Birthday weekend one to remember!

Happy Birthday Preston!!!

Happy Birthday Preston!!!

-------

Preston turned the BIG "2" Today!!!
...and is enjoying every moment of his Birthday week....He now request "Birthday Parties, Cake, and Ice Cream" upon rising from naps or every hour on the hour...If none of the above are given...He will start singing "Happy Birthday to Preston"...until he can get you to join in and sing for him...Of course, he prefers there to be a lit candle in a piece of Elmo cake in front of him when you do this...And to prove Mommy and Daddy have done nothing to discourage this behaviour...He claps when you are done singing and blows out the candle without delay....As for being able to answer the Big question--How old are you.?...He now responds...."Two and Single"...Yes, my little baby is turning into quite the big boy these days...

I have lots of AMAZING pictures to post from his week with the family, Birthday Parties and gatherings of friends that I hope to accomplish and post tomorrow...This week has exhausted Mommy and Daddy and it appears we are all a little worn down and under the weather...so I am sorry for the delay...to help satisfy those that can't wait...Here are a few from his Family and Neighborhood Party....
Getting ready to induldge in Elmo cake...
(please note the deadly red frosting...yes we moved the tables outside...I think this stuff should be declared illegal...but boy was the cake scrumptious!)
Yes--it stained his face but only for a day or two...notice how Preston is attempting to NOT touch anything...per Mommy's instructions.....
Preston and his Elmo hat....thanks to "Nina" (AKA...Nana...aka Gramma...yes the name keeps changing...) for helping to make it!
Again--I will post more pictures from our Amazing week tomorrow....It was really great and we just want to thank everyone for helping to make it so special for Preston...He really has had a great week and enjoyed pretty much every minute of being the center of attention....go figure!!
